Today, on the first day of the workshop Dissemination of Partial Results: tools, methods, and approaches for Romanian literary corpora, Ioana Galleron, Professor of Digital Humanities at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University – Paris 3, gave a short introduction to TEI (Text Encoding Initiative).

Our colleagues, Lucreția Pascariu and Alexandra Olteanu, also coordinated a short training session in which they introduced natural language processing (NLP) methods, particularly NER (Name Entity Recognition), to the participants. Of course, in the coming days, participants will put into practice everything they have learned in the training sessions.
